Cookies & tracking
Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar local-storage technologies we use, what they do, and how you can control them.
Last updated: July 10, 2026
We keep tracking light. We use a small number of essential technologies to run the platform, plus privacy-friendly first-party analytics to understand what locals love. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not sell your data.
What we use
Essential (always on)
- Authentication: keeps you signed in and secures your session. The platform can't work without these.
- Preferences: remembers small settings (like your cookie choice) so we don't ask again.
Analytics (optional — you can opt out)
- Anonymous visitor ID: a random identifier stored in your browser's local storage. It contains no name, email, or other personal detail and simply lets us count unique visits.
- Page views & watch time: which pages are viewed and how long content is watched, so we can improve the platform.
Your choices
Analytics run by default, but you can opt out at any time — your choice is stored on your device and respected immediately.
You can also clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential storage may prevent sign-in from working.
